Caramel Frosting

Ingredients: 1/2 Cup Butter or Oleo; 1 Cup Brown Sugar; 1/4 Cup Milk; 2 Cup Powdered Sugar; 1/2 Cup Vanilla (??? this seems way, way too much. 1/2 Tsp was probably intended); 2/3 Cup Pecans and walnuts (optional)

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Butter or Oleo
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Milk
2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup Vanilla (??? this seems way, way too much. 1/2 Tsp was probably intended)
2/3 Cup Pecans and walnuts (optional)

Instructions

Combine butter, brown sugar, and milk
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, only until mixture boils and sugar is dissolved.
Cool, add vanilla and nuts, and mix well
Spread over cooled cake

Notes

This list contains powdered sugar, but doesn’t appear to use it anywhere? It also calls for 1/2 cup of vanilla which I believe is a mistake and really meant 1/2 Tsp. Posting an image of the original recipe here just in case I messed it up somewhere.
